WHAT WE CELEBRATE

Sweet 60 is a multimedia project consisting of an online website and a non-fiction video feature. We believe that opportunity is a gift and that the children of the senior citizens should help their senior citizen parents since the Philippine Constitution also states that “it is the duty of the family to take care of the elderly members”. Through this, we will present the different opportunities and benefits available for senior citizens through the help of various government offices, non-government organizations and the senior citizens themselves. We're here to show that their age should be a celebration for more things to come.

MEET THE CELEBRANTS

Prepare the confetti and gifts. Meet the seniors who have celebrated their sweet life after 60.

PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

START A LIVELIHOOD

Through the senior citizen’s abilities, they can make and sell their own products and services to have their own livelihood. Learn how Ms. Chit did it. A 74-year-old senior citizen from Manila City who sells handicrafts and writes books to help other senior citizens by teaching them how to make their own products.

BE A VOLUNTEER

By using their time and effort into volunteer work or joining organizations, senior citizens will be able to stay active, and enjoy their time while contributing to the community at the same time. Learn how Ms. Joy did it. A 78-year-old senior citizen from Makati City who’s currently a consultant at OSCA Makati.

FOLLOW YOUR PASSION

By returning and doing the activities they once loved and enjoyed to do, they will be able to reach self-fulfillment. Being able to do it again will give them confidence and something to look forward to. Learn how Mr. Alan did it. A 63-year-old senior citizen who continued to do acting, his passion when he was at a younger age.
